Beyoncé has revealed her new single, “Break My Soul.” Take a pay attention through its lyric video beneath.

“Break My Soul” samples each Robin S.’s 1993 home anthem “Present Me Love” and Massive Freedia’s “Explode,” and options co-writing credit from JAY-Z, The-Dream, Tough Stewart, and BlaqNmilD. It presumably serves as the primary style of Queen Bey’s seventh solo album, Renaissance, which is due out on July twenty ninth.

As she did in asserting Renaissance final week, Beyoncé clued followers in on the upcoming arrival of “Break My Soul” by merely updating her Instagram bio. It at the moment reads: “6.ㅤ ㅤ BREAK MY SOUL ㅤ midnight ET.” (One would assume that the No. 6 is the track’s place on the album’s tracklist.)

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s seventh solo album to this point and first since 2016’s earth-shattering Lemonade — which Consequence later title as the perfect album of the 2010s. In 2018, Beyoncé and JAY-Z launched their collaborative album, All the pieces Is Love, which Queen Bey adopted up in 2019 with The Lion King companion album, The Lion King: The Reward. In 2020, she launched the one-off single, “Black Parade,” and final 12 months she contributed the track “Be Alive” to the movie King Richard.
