Pop songstress Carly Rae Jepsen sat down with Consequence at Mad Cool Competition 2022 for a dialog about her busy pageant season, 2022 objectives, and what followers can count on relating to new music.
The “Western Wind” singer — whose set was packed along with her smashes like “I Actually Like You,” “I Need You in My Room,” and “Now That I Discovered You” — has been busy on the pageant circuit this 12 months: Following appearances at Coachella and participation in Jack Antonoff’s Bonnaroo Superjam, Madrid turned the newest metropolis to welcome Jepsen and her string of pop hits. The Madrid crowd, specifically, went wild for “Name Me Possibly,” the music that put Jepsen on the map for many listeners.
“I wrote down a New 12 months’s decision to be current and revel in all the pieces,” she shares. “I would like all the pieces to be enjoyable and pleasurable, and really feel like I’ve arrived at that half, and need to maintain going.”
