Pop hitmaker Justin Tranter wrote the unique music for Rise of the Pink Girls, which creator and showrunner Annabel Oakes described in a latest interview with Leisure Weekly as “R&B with an amp.” Oakes added, “We wish to pay tribute to the actual individuals who began rock & roll — Black musicians, Latinx musicians, who had been on the forefront.”

Oakes served as govt producer alongside director Alethea Jones, with Jamal Sims dealing with choreography.
